Do You Know How to Share Your Lists?

Sharing your word lists is easier than you think!

Whether you're collaborating with a co-teacher, passing lists down to a colleague, or building a shared library across your team, Vocab Loco makes it simple to share your custom word lists with other teachers — no exporting, no file downloads, just a couple of clicks. Here's a quick recap of how it works. 🔗✨

🔓 Step 1: Mark a List Group as Shareable

Sharing is controlled at the List Group level, not per individual list. When creating or editing a group, set its Privacy option to Shareable instead of Private. Shareable groups display a globe icon on their card.

Where to find it: Word Lists → Custom Lists → New List Group (or Edit Group) → Privacy → Shareable.

📥 Step 2: Import Lists from Another Teacher

To get lists someone else has shared, go to Custom Lists → Import Teacher Lists, enter the other teacher's Vocab Loco email address, and search. Select the lists you want and choose where to place them: keep the original group names, add to an existing group, or create a new group.

Imported lists are independent copies — future edits on either side don't sync between them.

Note: If no lists appear, that teacher's groups are still set to Private.
