๐Ÿ–ผ๏ธ New Cover Library for Custom Word Lists

New Active Covers โ€” Recommended for All Groups

When editing a custom word list group, the cover picker now shows two tabs: Active Covers and Inactive Covers.

Active Covers is the new recommended library. Covers are organized by category, making it easy to choose one that matches your word list. Each cover follows a consistent layout with a category badge, a subcategory label, a visual icon, and a color that identifies the list type at a glance.

๐Ÿ“ฆ Legacy Covers: Still There, But Not Recommended

Existing Groups Keep Their Current Covers

If your list groups already use a legacy cover, they will keep it until you decide to change. The Inactive Covers tab still shows the old library so you can reference what you had.

However, legacy covers are not available when creating new groups.. All new groups must use an Active Cover from the current library.

Switching an existing group to an Active Cover takes just a few clicks and immediately changes what students see on their dashboard.
